Bruce M. Harris Bruce, an associate at Charlie's firm, Gray, Harris & Robinson, will be part of the Sea Gem crew for the Panama Canal transit. Born in Bartow, Florida, Bruce was raised in Orlando after his family moved there in 1969. Shortly after moving to Orlando, Bruce's father, Gordon "Stumpy" Harris founded Gray, Harris & Robinson. Bruce graduated high school from Trinity Prep and earned a B.A. in history and a J.D. law degree from the University of Florida. This is Bruce's second major "nautical" journey with Charlie. In the mid-70's Charlie, Charlie's son, John, Stumpy and Bruce spent three weeks navigating the Mississippi River from Hannibal, Missouri to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Charlie hopes Bruce's experience going through the Mississippi River locks will come in handy as the Sea Gem traverses the Panama Canal.
