SANDRA DALE COOK

SandraSandra Dale Cook born January 21, 1976 in Adelaide, South Australia

"I believe life is a gift and should be experienced to the fullest."  Sandra Dale Cook

Sandra is living the dream of many less adventurous people.  She started traveling at age eighteen after recovery from spinal fusion to correct scoliosis. She said having the surgery was a life changing experience for she realized she could do anything she set her mind to.

Sandra loves travel, sky diving, scuba diving and playing with fire sticks-which she brought with her.  She has two hundred jumps to her credit and is a certified SCUBA instructor.  She has taught diving in Australia and in Turkey. The fire sticks she picked up as a hobby along the way and enjoys sharing her skill with others who want to learn.

She interrupted her travels long enough to go to University and study natural medicine.  She received her certificate from Adelaide College of Natural Medicine.

Sandra works to pay her expenses so that she can keep traveling, catches rides when the opportunity arises and adds to her list of places she wants to visit.   She has lived and worked in places most of us only read and dream about and while she learns about the world she is also learning much on how to rely on herself.

Sandra hopes to write for publication about her travels and perhaps to inspire others to do the same.  We have had fun with her aboard Sea Gem and look forward to her continued presence until the Maldives.
